How to Check Canadian Visa Status? 

Follow the below steps to check the status of your Canada visa application online.

  • Visit the official website of the Government of Canada.
  • Go to ‘Immigration and Citizenship.
  • Select the ‘My Application’ option.
  • Click on ‘Check your application status.
  • Enter the type of visa application.
  • Log in to your account and check the Canada visa application status.

If you applied for an eTA, you can check your Visa application status online. 

In case the eTA tool does not work, follow the below-mentioned steps –

  • Use the Web Form 
  • Go to ‘Type of Application.’ Under this option, choose ‘Electronic Travel Authorization.’ 
  • After that, choose ‘Case-Specific Enquiries.
  • Enter as many details as you can. 

If you applied under any other category, create or sign into your IRCC secure account. Then, go to the ‘View My Submitted Applications or Profiles’ option. Under that, choose ‘Check Status and Messages.’
